2D final

This is not new, it was my final for my 2D class last semester in the spring. I finally got around to scanning some of my work from school and figured since I haven't been able to post any new artwork I'll show everyone this.

The project was to take a photograph of someone and posterize it in photoshop so that way you can get all the different values and put them on separate layers (long and tedious task let me tell ya). We printed them all out and used them as stencils, each layer was a different color of paper. Cutting them all out took forever, especially with all the little detailed cutouts in the ear and hair. over all I love how this came out! the only thing I'd do different is the BG color, the dark gray does not make the figure pop out enough. (keep in mind the scan does not do the picture justice )
